Лесной пейзаж с упавшим деревом

Картина 40 х 50 см, написана в лесу с натуры. Упавшие деревья обращают на себя внимание как художника, так и зрителя. Под Петербургом лежит болотистая местность, в суровости которой приживается не всякое дерево. Постепенно песчаная почва под корнями может вымываться, оставляя лишь хлипкий состав из торфяника и воды, дерево не удерживается, теряет равновесие и падает. Мне нужно было принести в лес этюдник, масло, кисти, палитру и краски. Такой метод называется "алла прима" - живопись за один сеанс.

Forest Landscape With A Fallen Tree
I painted this landscape in the forest. I found an interesting place with this fallen tree and painted it's roots and a lot of soil. I really like how it all turned out. The atmosphere is not frightening, but serious and a bit grotesque. Used there a tube of the expensive german oil paint - Shminke Mussini. The quality is worth its' price.


Elefant, who walks in a dream

60 х 60 cm oil painting with an elefant from dry and warm central Africa. This red savannah is the dream of this animal, I like their tusks. Also, red-brown tones are ones of my favorites. The painting helped me to begin to draw elefants.
